It was a cold, winter night in New York City. We drank a London Fog and got lost in conversation. Before we knew it, it was past midnight.

We had our first real date while in New York City for a photography trip for college. As we sat there, at Starbucks, looking over Times Square, we felt a connection that was magnetic.

Fast forward to today. It’s ten years later. Here we are, married and still feeling that same connection we felt on that cold, winter night.

It seems fitting that we met through our shared passion for photography. Because photography has been the thread that has weaved our story together. Photography has taken us from one chapter to the next.

And that’s how we’ll weave together your story, too. Through photography, we’ll be there with you from one chapter to the next.

DO YOU ALWAYS WORK TOGETHER?

For weddings and engagements, yes! When you book with Love Always Photography we guarantee that we will both be photographing your wedding day.That’s why we’ve come to develop a unique ‘his’ and ‘her’ approach to wedding photography. We tell your story with empathy, through an appreciation and understanding for your journey, and from both ‘his’ and ‘her’ perspective. For lifestyle and event work Sarah usually works independently.

DO WE GET THE DIGITAL FILES?

Yes! All of our wedding collections and lifestyle work include the digital files from the wedding day. These are printable up to 8×12 in size. Of course, we believe that the best way to enjoy your wedding day images is through wedding albums and print enlargements which is why most of our collections include printed product as well. We also have an a la carte menu of popular print products as add on options.

HOW DO WE KNOW HOW MANY HOURS OF COVERAGE WE NEED?

This is a question we get asked a lot, our approach is to work with you in our initial phone consultation to talk through your day and timeline to figure out what makes most sense for you. Most couples find that 8-10 hours is usually enough.

WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?

Every bride and grooms biggest fear! We don’t want you to worry about that though, we always talk in advance of the wedding day about nearby rain backup locations. All we need to create natural light portraits on a rainy wedding day is just one porch or overhang! For family and lifestyle work that has to be done outdoors we are happy to set a rain date.

WHY IS AN ENGAGEMENT SESSION IMPORTANT?

All of our collections include an engagement session, this is so that we can have a chance to get to know each other in front of and behind the camera, which I think is so important to do prior to the wedding day! It lets you interact with us and see how we work behind the camera and gets rid of any jitters for those that are feeling camera shy.

HOW MANY IMAGES WILL WE RECEIVE?

For an engagement and lifestyle sessions we deliver between 70-100 images, for a wedding day our average is 500-800 images and this all depends on the wedding collection and amount of photography coverage we provide on the day.
